Learn to make glowing crystals in Blender with no modeling and no geometry nodes. In my last crystal tutorial we focused most of our time on modeling with booleans. This one will spend less time on getting the shape, since that takes only a few sconds, and more on material creation. Subscribe to BlenderForge on YouTube so you don't miss this sequel! psst. Turn on notifications for the channel as well.

Over the past few months I have been hard at work putting together a tutorial series on YouTube and IGTV to introduce Blender to absolute beginners and to take the viewer through the entire process of creating an interior bathroom scene in order to cover all of the tools needed to start modeling and rendering.
I have also rebranded my YouTube channel from Art Of Karl B to Blender Forge. This better reflects the goal of the channel as a place to forge new skills rather than a channel to showcase my own work.
Without further ado, here is the first video of the series!
The blue bathroom scene has been featured on Blendernation's Best of Blender Artists! It's humbling to be featured next to some of the best artists who's skills I aspire to match
I have been working the past few weeks to create a tutorial series designed to introduce Blender 3D to the absolute beginner. This will be followed by other Blender tutorials around specific tasks and small projects. As part of this project, I am rebranding my Youtube channel as Blender Tap. This name is more fitting for a tutorial centered channel than one that simply showcases my own artwork like ArtOfKarlB. The ArtOfKarlB social accounts are not going anywhere, and I will still share my progress and finished works there. All things tutorial related will now be branded as Blender Tap.
This is all still in the works, but I thought I would share my working title animation with you. I am open to critiques and suggestions. Turn on your sound :)
